I am interested in feedback from residents of NEA regarding through traffic.  It has been ongoing but much worse over the past several years.  Yesterday  

I was nearly hit turning left into my driveway as someone tried to pass me.    My sister was forced off the road when driving to visit.  I was almost hit while jogging 2 weeks ago.  I am uncomfortable letting my kids ride their bikes in our development due to traffic (we live off of Nantucket and Bunker Hill Ct).

Traffic cuts through much faster then the Posted 25 mph speed limit.  I have written letters, noticed the presence of law enforcement, and traffic monitors.  We have many families with young children in this development.  I dont feel it is unreasonable to expect motorists to obey a 25 mph speed limit when cutting through.  I personally do not feel they should be permitted to "cut through" but short of blocking an entrance or implementing speed bumps, the reality is they will cut through.
