Indian Village is an historic, upscale neighborhood along East Jefferson Avenue.

Lauder Street is about six-tenths of a mile (or one kilometer) east of Greenfield Road. Greenfield and Lauder parallel to one another, so the area between them varies somewhat, but it is generally a working-class neighborhood.
