This spring, I noticed that vauable plants in my side yard were dead. Some of the trees are alive with stunted leaves. Upon investigation, I was told by the man in charge of spraying herbicides for the city that the yard had been sprayed in February. He gave me list of six products mixed together and sprayed. An internet search drew a blank on three, but I found specs on the others. They are intended for farm use, not around homes.
The Uraban Garden in West End has also had problems with herbicides. Three stunted tomato plants were taken to the county agent for diagnosis, and the answer was herbicide damage. Other plants are not thriving.
This is "hearsay" by the rules of legal evidence, but I have also heard reports of similar problems in Dynamite Hill and Roebuck.
I would appreciate anyone who has haad similar experiences contactng me.
