I personally just am thankful for the warm neighborly spirit that many of Birchwood's residents showed during this 2010 winter wonderland, in helping each other out of this snow adults/youth. It's amazing how we can get to know our neighbors in a time of crisis-especially when we are all in the same boat.  This spirit should continue in making this a great community to live in.  "Birchwood City-A Community That Cares"

Yes, this brotherly love carried over into 2011 and hopefully in to 2012.  Many of the residents continuously donate cans of food for Oxon Hill Food Pantry and warm coats for out Warm Clothing Drive.  Yes, Birchwood-Clearview is :  "A Community That Cares."
