Hello Hope Park,
Where did the summer go? The kids are back in school and we are back
to our old routine (some of us never stopped).
The Beautification Contest has one first place winner, two homes tied for
second place, and a host of honorable mentions. We care about our environment and want to keep it clean and safe, and appreciate those who make our community a beautiful place to live.
HPA T-shirts will be on sale to show your community pride for only $5.00* such a deal!
A GIANT thank you to all participants in the 2004 Giant Sale. We profited a little over $200.00. We hope to become bigger and better next year. Our only other funding comes from yearly membership dues of $15.00 per family, per year.
This helps us finance the Family to Family Pot Luck Dinner coming in December, and many other events for the children throughout the year.
Sept. 25th is clean up day for Bentler Park and we are hoping for some volunteers. This is in preparation for The House Blessing on Oct. 2nd , 1-3pm in the Park. Refreshments will be served and information on the new homes will be available.
AIM HI is sponsoring a Nutrition Session every 4th Monday, food samples
and free recipes will be given call (313) 592-4838 for more information.
Remember to stay in school and EXERCISE, it's GOOD for you,
3 days per week 60 min. a day.
