Should Dr. Burnley's contract be extended?

DPS BOARD MEETING

The Detroit Public Schools Board has scheduled a special meeting to
take action on the Chief Executive Officer's contract, which expires June
30, 2005. The Board must decide if it wants to offer Dr. Burnley a
contract extension beyond the current term. The meeting will take place at
5:00 pm Tuesday, January 25th at Martin Luther King, Jr. High School.
