I'm all for the neighborhood looking good, however I did not think our streets look bad at all compared to other small cities around town. The costs is/was something like $180,000.00 or something? What was passed regarding how the city is going to pay for the new paving?

The city will enter into a bond. $50,000 from the general fund plus a homeowner Ad Valorem tax will pay for the streets. The total per house will be $79 per year for 10 years. |
