The Water Quality Dept., Ms. Bullock, telephone 713-842-4046, advises the bid process for replacing the aging water pipe system in Gulf Meadows will begin on October 11, be completed in November and go before City Council in December. She states the budget already has over $1 Million set aside for this project. In the meantime the stop gap measure to clear up the water quality on Gulf Tree Lane of having the water running in the street will be checked to assure it is moving fast enough to prevent insect infestation.

Gulf Meadows Water Mains
Dear anonymous; The Gulf Meadows water mains WILL NOT be replaced until sometimes in late January or early February 2003. The bids did not even go out until November 25, 2002. This will take 30 days and then it has to go before City Council for approval and then the work will begin. This is per Mr. Jon C.
