Farewell: Beth Lyon, who has served faithfully as our neighborhood association secretary, and her family will be moving this fall. Though we're happy for them as they move closer to Beth's work, we'll miss very much the quality work and positive attitude she brought to our association, the neighborly attitude she and her family exemplified, and the excellent newsletters she has put together so creatively. Thanks for everything, Beth, and we wish all the best to you and your family in your new location!

New residents: We'd like to highlight regularly in this newsletter all new residents as they move in to the neighborhood, so that we can all get to know one another as neighbors. At some point, we may even consider organizing a "welcome wagon" committee to help orient folks. If a "new arrival" is your neighbor, please pass their names on to one of the officers so we can list them here. Ones that we've heard about:

- Dan and Ann Fanelli and family (four young children): moving in to 1145 Concorda this fall
- Patti Fitzgerald, Melanie Murphy, Adrienne Herzog, and Mary Peterson: moved in to 1051 E Broadmor in late August
