The Hughes Acres Neighborhood Association exists to improve and maintain the quality of life in our community. Membership is open to all residents and property owners, but participation is voluntary. We have no legal authority to enact or enforce maintenance or design requirements beyond those established by City ordinances.
Our goals for 1998 are:
1. Have two neighborhood-wide meetings.
2. Publish at least two newsletters to promote awareness of our neighborhood association and communicate with residents.
3. Identify three clean-up projects and work with property owners to rectify deterioration or code violations.
In addition, we hope to establish a web page to allow more immediate dissemination of information for those with access to the Internet.
