Humboldt On The Move

The Humboldt Neighborhood Association and the Humboldt Target Area Project are two related organizations that both work to improve the community. Neighborhood revitalization, new vibrant businesses, remodeled storefronts, streetscape beautification, increased pedistrian safety, reduced crime, more opportunities for our neighborhood's young people, seniors and disabled, and helping to magnify community spirit...all part of our joint mission.

We want our neighborhood to be a shining example of what a neighborhood is all about: supporting and taking an active role in our schools, churchesand community organizations, keeping our streets free of litter, taking pride in our library, supporting our neighborhood businesses and knowing our neighbors by name; seeing our property values protected and making sure our neighbors who rent are protected from displacement.

That's what Humboldt is all about. Won't you join our movement?

Somebody recently said "you know you're in the 21st century when you e-mail your good friend in S. Africa twice a day...but don't know the name of the person who lives next door." Sad...but true! Let's change that in Humboldt.
