June 25 - Adjoining property was rezoned to RM6 (residential, multifamily 6 units per acre) This will limit the number of units to 66 or 67 (down from the proposed 89).
Conditions, such as a 40' undisturbed buffer from our fenceline to the development, along with several other negotiated items, were made a part of the approved rezoning.
Because of the last minute change to RM6 from RM8, the developer will not be able to generate as much revenue from the property as originally planned. Therefore, the contingent purchase agreement will require renegotiation between the seller and the developer. At this time, a new deal has not been struck.
