MEETING MINUTES
Attendance:

Call to Order
Elizabeth Montgomery called the meeting to order at approximately 6:30 p.m. at Side Street Bar and Grill ?– Red Bar.
Announcements
Elizabeth Montgomery reminded everyone to sign in. While everyone was signing in, the following items were mentioned:
November newsletters are available for those who haven?’t received one. The minutes from the last meeting on October 25th were available as well.
Also, as always, we have plaques, tees and INA cookbooks available for sale for those interested.
MLGW contacted INA and inquired if we would be interested in having MLGW Community Relations staff member coming to a meeting to discuss Gas Prices. The idea was proposed to the membership in attendance and it was agreed that INA would agree to have MLGW come out and speak with us. It was proposed MLGW could be present at our next meeting.
Cooper-Young is starting up a community garden and is looking for those who are interested in supporting, participating or those interested in finding out more information about the garden. If interested, contact Heidi Knochenhauer (hknochenhauer@yahoo.com)
Downtown proposed Memphis Farmers?’ Market was discussed. For those wanting to put in their two cents, visit www.zoomerang.com/survey.zgi?p=WEB224QP4FMZB3. A short article is also in the November INA Today newsletter. Please take a moment to read it.
Margaret Oprean Update ?– Margaret is a former neighbor. In late April 05, her home on Linden had a gas fire resulting in total lose of the home. Unfortunately, Margaret was home at the time of the fire and received burns over a good percentage of her body. INA has made an effort to be there for Margaret during her long recovery. Recently, Margaret expressed the need for winter clothing and a rug for her new home. If you have sweaters or jackets in smaller sizes please donate those to Margaret. Drop off all items to Elizabeth Montgomery at 2015 Linden Ave (Front porch is fine if Elizabeth is not home).

Elizabeth Montgomery expressed her pleasure at representing INA for the past year and half as President. She thanked INA for giving her the opportunity and expressed her appreciation for the board members and block captains for the 2004 ?– 2005 term. After rambling for 5 minutes, she opened the floor to nominations for President, Vice President, Secretary Treasurer, Chairperson Of The Block Committee and Chairman of The Activities Committee. The following are your new INA board for 2005 ?– 2006.
