I'm totally dumfounded on this one - can someone tell me, is this a new trend? It started in May close to my neighborhood (earlier this year than last) and goes throughout the entire summer....on a nightly basis! Very disconcerting because it initially sounds like gunshot. Police get many calls every night on this issue but have been unable to isolate the culprit. This is a yearly thing and goes on literaliy for months. What can be done about this? I never felt like I lived in the hood - but maybe I do - now. This gives LB a very bad name and sets a low standard for the entire community.
