I have neighbors with abandoned vehicles in their driveway that do not have current and valid (or expired) license plates.Even if they have a current license plate, but are not mechanically operable, (oil leaking or flat tire)this is considered an abandoned vehicle. These cars have been sitting for over 4 or 5 months! This is against the zoning ordinance, Dwelling Districts of Marion County. This could result in a citation of $50.00 and the vehicles being towed and/or a fines up to $2,500 per citation and if not corrected,an appearance in court. Additionally, auto-repair in the driveway and storage of trailers (without plates) in the rear yard is prohibited per the commitments and covenants. This is also a violation of the Dwelling Districts Ordinance of Marion County and our covenants and commitments. Also, I've seen people who let their dogs run loose and are not restrained. This is also not permitted per our covenants and commitments. We need more enforcement (I know it sounds petty) on our covenants, but that is why we have dues and an association. My neighbor's front yard light is never on at night! Above-ground pools, outside storage of boats/trailers etc., mini-barns are also not permitted. There is a property where in the rear yard (towards Stop 11 Rd.) they have outside storage of a trailer and misc JTD. (junk, trash & debris). Additionally, commercial vehicles and trucks with snow plows/trailers are not permitted. Thank you for listening!
