When I was teenager, there were many fires likes this on the near Eastside. Now it's like a war zone over there.

I'm worried about this, too. Assuming one or more of these properties was abandoned and that's why no one saw or reported suspicious activity? I'm planning to drive by the affected houses after work to see if I can surmise whether that is the case. If so, perhaps we can get someone from the city to a neighborhood assn meeting to talk about the problem of abandoned houses?
