I really think we need to address at the next meeting the the problems at the basket ball courts and try and find a solution. The problem seems to be multiplying weekly! Right now there are over 20 cars parked at the courts and probably over 30 guys playing. There are also several beer cans scattered around the play area and parking lot! Not to metion all the teenagers hanging on the play equipment waiting to play. My understanding is the police have been called but that was over a hour ago and more kids just keep pulling up. I want anyone who lives at Ivey Chase to be able to play . However, I find it hard to believe that even 1/2 of the kids playing right now live here. We are going to find it impossible to park at the pool or take our kids to the playground. I know we have brought this up at other meetings but no real solution as been propossed. I also know of several homeowners who have tried to police the courts themselves (a suggstion made by the propery mngt. Cc,) and have been made to feel very unsafe and have all said that they will never do that again. Hopfully we as a community can work together to make the courts and playground a fun and safe place for residents of Ivey Chase to play!

Police
We can ask GCPD to come by in the afternoon but it is going to be hard to know who belongs to the neighborhood. One solution is to post a sign stating that this is for ''Ivey Chase residents only others will be prosecuted''. Another more costly solution is to put up a fence with a keypad lock. If you think they are just using the courts think again. They are probably using the pool too. All I know is we need to call the police if we see it out of control. If they are told not to come back and are found on the property again they will be arrested.

Basketball
This has been an ongoing problem with the basketball courts. The police are called everytime I am made aware of the situation. You are also not required to give your name to police. They were called yesterday & they did not show up & were called again & did not show up. I sent my builder to talk to the ''group'' & 1 homeowner lived there , which took responsibility for all the guest. Unfortunatly there is nothing to keep them from having multiple guest. We have called in to get a price to fence matching the tennis courts but are thing to actually have 4 representatives that have the keys & they have to check them out to unlock the gate. This obviously is unfortunate but has to be controlled- Safety is our number one concern , not to mention selling homes is a challenge. If we goto the expense & this does not work , they will be removed & possible made another play area. This is being addressed but all suggestions are WELCOME!!! Thank you

SIGN/POLICE
There is a sign posted at the amenities but has never seemed to work- the police do not even scare them! I never let this go & have been calling to the police to set a standard it won't be tolerated since 2003 & they just don't care. So terrible that there are public parks all over town & they have to come here.
