We've lived here now for over 5 years and they've been working on Monument Road the entire time. Will they ever be finished?

Of course, as soon as it's done, the bottlenecks will just move to a new location. . . . . .

GACC Response

The GACC mentioned in a recent meeting attended by our rep - John Cannon - that the landscaping is now what's on hold due to irrigation issues.

One More Monument Road Thing

Comparison - Does anyone but me see the irony that the city can totally replace a bridge (Fuller Warren) in less time then it takes to widen Monument Road? I work next to that bridge and watched it get completed and opened before the additional lanes on Monument.
