I live just west of Piggsville and was wondering if any of you have been bothered by the excessive truck noise coming out of Miller.

Noise problems have much improved since Miller paved their truck yard west of the river area.
Bigger problem still remains the amount of semi traffic that has taken over Bluemound Rd. under the Wisconsin Avenue Bridge. Lots of near miss accidents. Discourteous drivers.
If you complain to the Alderman he will give you a tongue lashing about how dare you say anything bad about such a good corporate neighbor who gives so much back to the community.
If you truly think Miller Trucks are a source of excessive noise give Dave Krey a call at neighborhood services: 286-5799 and demand that they come out and do noise level checks. They have machinery they can do this with to test excessive environmental noise.
By the way when they tested noise on Bluemound Rd. they found Miller in violation a year or two ago (twice). But were waiting on issueing citations, don't think any were ever issued thanks the the Alderman.

Make sure you ask for a copy of the report from DNS if they do a check especially if found in violation, ask how or have followed up.
