| As most of you have heard by now, there is a Federal Judge wanting to integrate our Parish school system to have a more even white/black ratio. This affects our property values and our community!!!! We don't want our children to be bused to Hammond or even farther due to this ruling. We chose to build, buy and live in this community so our children can go to school in our chosen community!!! This will affect our school systems, our property values and our community!! Please attend this very important meeting!!! I'm sure that you bought property & built your homes here to be in the Ponchatoula School district. This is an extremely important matter!!! Bobby Cortez has set up a meeting on Thursday, May 29th at 6pm at the voting center, 41266 Country Side Lane at the back of Coles Creek sub'd. Tangi School Board Superintendant will also be there to address questions. Even if you do not have children, this ruling will still affect you!! This ruling affects the 70403 zip code. Whatever the area is, it's close enough to home to affect all of us. Please tell your friends and neighbors to attend this meeting.
