Sloppy neighbor working on and spray painting cars!

Posted in: River Trails
9063 Saranac Trail is getting way out of control I need help or suggestions. I have some neighbors that moved here from Egypt. When they first moved in they were very sloppy and careless. I have confronted them very nicely several times. But it has had no affect. It is apparent that they are just very dirty, sloppy, and careless. Several of our other neighbors, as well as us, are becoming very annoyed by this. They now have at least 5-7 cars parked in the streets, driveway, and in front of our houses. I think he gets them from the auction because of the numbers painted on the windows. But he is now doing body work and spray painting the whole cars in front of his house. He was spray painting the other day when it was windy and paint was blowing all over my other neighbors newly wrapped food truck. His kids have broken our garage lights several times, their trash cans are just thrown on there sides, their yard is just a mess, and he mows his yard in the summer at 9 pm in the dark? I'm about to plant some very tall bushes so I don't have to look at them every time I step out. Please fill free to give me suggestions on how to fix or reduce the problem. Any codes being broken by working on all these cars in front of his house?

Hey neighbor.  I have been to Egypt and other places around the world.  One thing that gets the attention of someone from the middle east is a nice pig roast.  Just Kidding that is very disrespectful to Muslims.  Espeacially if they consider pigs to be unclean etc..  If you had addressed them in regards to the mess and they do not change is because they don't believe they have to listen to anyone.  In less terms they believe that they are better than most as we are considered second class to them.  In a lot of ways they are just brought up that way.  If you had originally talked to them and expressed how you feel and they do not change in regards to others feelings then that is basically all that you can do.  Or you could just rope of the area in hopes that eventually it will go away.  They are who they are and sometimes the political way and adult way is best but if that fails I suggest you do two things.  One try again talking with them and let them know your frustrations just like you did in this forum.  Second if the talking doesn't sink in then simlpy write a letter to the HOA board to check into their organization to see what is can be banned in regards to their lifestyle and take it to them in the manner of a pen instead of sword.  Keep in mind that political is always best first but if that doesn't work then I would go with my first suggestion.  Trust me it will get their attention.  just kidding,...  Keep trying to work with them help them understand and if they aren't interested in your privacy etc. then you are not going to take lightley to what is going on and be a nuecence to them in regards to regs etc..  Regs will get them trust me.  They shouldn't be spray painting in the driveway as we both know wend is a beast this time of the year and i have to say if it stained my property then we will have a discussion.  Stand firm and be straight up with them let them know that this lifestyle is not working out and that you demand them to clean up their act or you will start reporting their falicies to the authorities.

Thanks for the reply man, you and me think alike. They just rub me the wrong way! I'll send you an invitation to my pig roast. I keep an eye out for that speeder too. What was the street?

I would give the City of Fort Worth code enforcement a call and discuss your issues.. It sounds like a violation to me...
