My "word of mouth" is that Good Guys is a great company!! Would recomment them to anyone!! Sounds like your vehicle was on its last leg and you took it to a shop and hoped for a hail mary. My vehicle needed many, many things done to it and I couln't be happier after the work they did on it. Sorry you had a bad experience but mine was far from that! |

i am glad that you had a good experience there.
just to clarify...i took my vehicle there with the expectation that it was totally screwed, however if they were able to put in a new motor it would have been cheaper than buying a new car. i said exactly that when i brought it to them. they quoted me eight hundred for the motor and twelve hundred for the labor. two grand is cheaper than a new car, so i agreed. it was only after i started to pay towards the total when they said they couldnt fix it at all and they boxed up the parts into the car and refused to refund my fourteen hundred. the owner told me to prove i had paid anything.
let me guess, either you know them or are a large man who looks like he could kick all their butts. just a thought sine they dont even have all of the proper equipment to do their jobs. they outsource quite a bit of their work to other shops because they dont have either the knowledge or the tools needed. shady losers.
if im wrong on who you are, my appologies and im glad you had a good experience there. i would just about bet money you are a relative, though
