When temperatures fall, concrete companies must heat the water when mixing concrete and pass this expense onto the contractors who, in turn, usually pass the cost on to the consumer. It is also likely that the increasing price of gas (due to Gulf Coast storm damage of refineries) will also be passed down to the consumer. It is also probable that the price of concrete will increase in April 2006.
