?

Thank you for your input and also for having the traffic counter in your yard.  We agree with you.

I question the legality of spending public money on private property whether it is to do a tree health survey or to remove and replace s0-called canopy trees especially when the "till" can run dry and some citizen/taxpayers get left out.  Is that not expropriation of monies  from one group of people for the benefit other other groups which has been held t be unconstitutional by the Supreme Court on more than one occasion

Don't come back to me and say the trees are in the easement along the streets because Metro has that easement on North Chadwick.  Does that mean the residents of North Chadwick are not covered by the ordinance?  Also my trees are within the Metro easement, not on my property.  What a mess!

When is the next Bellemeade Council meeting?  I want to speak to this issue.  If necessry, I will go door-to-door to get signatures calling for recall of this unfair legislation, or if you wish, just come by my house and sign.  Thanks.

The Next Commission meeting is September 8th at 7 PM at theLyndon City Hall. You are welcome to speak. The meeting time and place is posted on this web site under meetings.

Why would a survey be needed every year. It would take years to do the follow up on this First Survey.

I tend to agree that public money should not be spent on private property. You may ask for a legal opinion. I have asked that question my self.

I was so angry when the arborist were in my yard.  I did not want to post anything for fear my anger would get in the way.  I am so glad that pajowm and mmontgomery posted their concerns so eloquently.  I will sign any repeal.  Thank you.
