I would like to make a request of any and all people who use Applewood Lane for either their residence or as a passthrough. PLEASE ABIDE BY THE SPEED LIMIT! I have lived on Applewood Lane for six years and speeding on the stretch of Applewood from Westport Rd. to Oxted is only getting worse. I have two small children. One is six and the other four years old. I can't take my eyes off my kids, even when I am present, for one second. The speed limit is 25 mph. and speeds in excess of 40-45 mph are constant. Please put yourself in my shoes. Would you want me to buzz by your house at 40-45 mph while your kids are playing in the front yard. I don't think so. Thank you in advance.

I live on a dead end street and it is bad. I can't walk with my kids on Girard anymore. You practically get run down and half of the time it is traffic coming in or out of St Alberts. I love the times when I see one of our officers radaring from a driveway.
