Kenwood Isles Area Assocation is a volunteer neighborhood organization. Our goal is: "To build a strong community in the Kenwood-Isles area by providing leadership, information, on local matters, and a forum for issues resolution".
We are fortunate to have great people living in one of America's best and safest neighborhood's! The uniqueness of Kenwood Isles is in our parks and lakes, the architecture of all our homes and our close proximity to arts, culture, and downtown. We are very lucky to have it all.
Our neighborhood is great but truley our best assest is the diverse community of caring, talented people we have. Recently, I heard of the author Daniel Kemmis who said, "Good citizens create places and communities that people are proud of and will be remembered". We have that community and we urge you to become involved with KIAA.
KIAA meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm in the Kenwood Rec Center located at 2101 West Franklin Avenue. All are welcome! For more information feel free to contact me, Joe Gibbons(Chairperson), at (612) 374-9498 or Karin Jacobs(Vice-Chairperson) at (612) 381-1056.
Joe Gibbons, 2001-02 Chairperson
