The AZCentral.com website has an article describing Mesa's choice for bond issues coming up in November.

City Council will choose between two bonds: one costing less and funded for two years and one for more money over a 5 year period.  You can read the details on the City of Mesa website:

http://www.cityofmesa.org/citymgt/mesa-now/issues/pdf/bond/bondinfosheet.pdf is a link to an info sheet for the original 2008 bond project which has an estimated cost to property owners (for $250,000 property) of $90 per year.  The revised bond project info sheet is http://www.cityofmesa.org/citymgt/mesa-now/issues/pdf/bond/revisedinfosheet.pdf This would cost an extimated $42 per year.  I still have questions and will be talking to other residents and council members to see what they think.
