Shaun and Steve Moubasher of 6789 Stornaway have asked me to apologize to the neighborhood for their lengthy renovation. I know it has been an eyesore to the neighbors, and for us too --- we have had to live with and in it.
They want everyone to know they have had extreme problems with their contractors. These problems forced them to resort to legal actions. The Moubashers were also in the middle of adopting two children from Kazakhstan. The litigation prevented them from going to pick up their children within the allotted time frame. They now have to go through the whole process again.
The litigation has been settled in their favor. They have hired workmen to do the necessary work. They say it will be an asset to the neighborhood when finished.
