We have a neighbor who just brough a 1 family home.  Renovated the basement with full kitchen and apartment.  We reported to BOD many time but they cant do anything about it as they cant get in.  My main concern is the fire hazard that it might happen and house around it might become collaborate damage.  Is there really nothing can be done?  Report to FDNY instead for fire hazard.  The basement apartment has only 1 exit and bury deep underground with no windows big enough to escape.
