I hate to say it but I am very disappointed at how many home owners let their yard look like crap.  If we want to have a nice place to live and maintain out property value we need to get involved.  Barking dogs can be a nuisance but call the SAPD and file a complaint when the home owner get several actions can be taken against the home owner.  Sitting back and doing nothing well only make it worse.  You want action taken then put pressure on the board and property management office.  People this is OUR neighborhood how it looks is all our responsibility.  I have been on the board at spring vistas and we had our playground built for the little kids.  We had block parties so people can get involved.  Sivage homes are also on the board and they have a responsibility to us as well. If you want a better neighborhood it well not happen by itself.

I agree. My yard looks fantastic compared to a lot of other homeowners. I refuse to have weeds take over what should be grass! I have complained to HOA SEVERAL times about issues with how others keep their yards, noise nuisance, how the neighborhood looks. They won't do anything. I took action to get everyone along Krie Trail to sign a form giving permission for HOA to repair and stain the fence along Krie Trail....now it's up to them to do it. Fortunately, we will be moving in less than a year, unfortunately, this neighborhood as a whole will greatly affect the sale of my house. The value isn't as high as it should be, all because of how the area looks and people getting themselves into things they can't afford, then end up foreclosing. So, to the people who wanna complain to neighbors...stop complaining to neighbors! Talk to HOA, the more they know how everyone feels, the more motivation it is for them to get the ball rolling.
