What is a Neighborhood Organization and Why Have One?

Neighborhood Organizations are formally recognized associations that offer an opportunity for citizens to participate in decision-making for their neighborhood. Participation is voluntary and open to all citizens who live or own property within the organization's boundaries.

By creating Lochwood 1 Neighborhood Association (L.O.N.A.) it allows us to draw together a great diversity of people who can work together to improve the livability of our neighborhood. Additionally, it allows us a platform to voice our concerns with issues that affect the quality of life in our community and a means to set priorities for discussing issues within the community.
