A Happy Ending:
Saturday night I was out with a friend and when she dropped me off at home I discovered that I had a flat tire. It was 8:30 at night and I had plans to drive to Fort Lauderdale Sunday morning. I called AAA and got limited help. The guy came and took the flat off but didn't have the tools to plug the tire (it had a screw embedded in it). Nor did he have enough air to fully inflate my spare. I started coming up with alternative plans of how I would get to Fort Lauderdale without my car.
I made a couple of calls and ended up talking to a fellow ROLOH neighbor who lives a few streets away from me. Her husband was fully equipped to plug my tire and fill it with air and fill my spare also. By 10 pm all was well, my tire was fixed, and I went to bed with a very thankful heart. I am so glad that I know some of my ROLOH neighbors as friends.
Now that you have read my true story, please reach out to someone in our neighborhood and make a new friend. Someday you might just get into a bind and that neighbor might be just the one to help you out. Or you could be the one to help them.
