I have had it happen to me and my son when we went fishing.  I was approached and asked and I said I lived in RT not LRT and this person told me I was not allowed to be there.   I have had a neighbor jogging around the lake get approached as well.   On a school field trip - RIVERTRAILS ELEM - mind you - we did a science project down there and a man came and approached the teachers asking who all these kids where and why are they at the lake and proceeded to ask if they go to Rivertrails.  Duh.  The teachers explained that all the kids go to Rivertrails Elem and he steamed off.   Said something about taking it up w/the school.   So,  if you haven't been approached,  count yourself lucky.

Absolutely outrageous!  Harassing a group of elementary students...  Just shameful.

I agree.  I can understand being upset if there were rowdy uncontrollable people,  or folks leaving trash behind...etc  but I can not understand approaching elementary students and their teachers.  Just insane really.  And I don't agree that people jogging around the park should be stopped and asked either.  Perhaps the residents are stopping and asking people who are fishing because there used to be (dont know if there still are since they put up a fence on the south side) non-residents fishing the pond but one would think that if you told them you lived in RT - they would be ok with it?  I just don't understand why some people find it so hard to try and get along.   I mean,  we are all neighbors.  We share the same streets,  schools, parks and   neighborhood convenience stores.  I really don't get it.

There is a map of River Trails on their web site.  The pond is NOT in River Trails.  The pond is in LAKES OF RIVER TRAILS.
