In our last Neighborhood Association meeting, it was brought up that the land near the Watterson Expressway, along Sheila Dr, is owned by the state and they are responsible for cutting the grass.  They have apparently budgeted to cut the grass there 4 times per year!  This is something that should be addressed with our local and state representatives.  That's a pathetic level of attention to a piece of property that is negatively impacting property values.
