Sacramento began development at the confluence of the Sacramento and American rivers. Development along the American river headed east, eventually stretching east beyond the city limits (Watt Avenue). The first subdivision was Glenbrook East, which is directly adjacent to Watt Avenue, and by the mid Sixties development of a sub division known as Larchmont Riviera was built.
This development took into consideration the bike and pedestrian accesses to enjoy the Beautiful American River parkway. Living along the river provides a wonderful quality of life, where nature can be enjoyed and shared within a short distance of our homes with friends and family.
There are many ways to become involved in one of the many organizations founded to preserve this gem of the greater Sacramento area.
Blue indicates the Larchmont Riviera subdivision boundaries per the Sacramento County Parcel viewer website.
