Laredo Highline Neighborhood Association is a nonprofit corporation that was registered with the Office of the Secretary of State of Colorado on November 21, 1988.
The Laredo Highline Neighborhood Association was formed to seek and improve the quality of life in the neighborhood in matters such as land use, environmental protection, public safety, consumer protection, municipal code enforcement and other matters of neighborhood concern.
The Laredo Highline Neighborhood Association is a dynamic and fluid organization that has sponsored most attractive lawn contests, an annual Easter egg hunt, participated in neighborhood cleanups, beautification of Apache park, and provided speakers and activities for members of the Laredo Highline Association.
The Association has board members that are elected at February's meeting each year. The members of the Laredo Highline Neighborhood Association determine the direction and the activities of the association. The annual dues for voting members is $12.
All resident within the boundaries (6th to colfax and airport to chambers) of the association are welcome to attend association meetings and to share your concerns and suggestions.
The new look of our web site reflects LHNA's active participation to help this site become relevant and current. We will be adding posts to our home page that reflects our neighborhood, our concerns and our interest in the City of Aurora. We welcome your suggestions, your critique and your help to make this web site a reliable source of information.
The Laredo Highline Association,LHNA, meets the second Thursday, February, September, October,our annual candidates night and the christmas dinner in December. The meeting are held at Laredo Elementary School,1350 Laredo street and begin at 7:00 P.M.
There are general members of LHNA and voting members. The general members are all residents within the association boundary. (6th Ave. to Colfax and Airport Blvd. to Chambers Road) We encourage all members to share their ideas, suggestions and concerns.
The voting members pay a $12.00 membership fee and vote on all activities, events and community participation projects. This fee enables the association to sponsor activities and events.
