From what I have learned from Fairfax County is that due to continous complaints from a few overly concerned citizens of the Lee Blvd Heights neighborhood concerning the parking of commercial vehicals along the 6000 block of Arlington Blvd has resulted in the placement of no parking signs erected along this one block stretch of road that can not be seen by any residents home within the boundries of this association. This type of self appointed parking monitoring of our neighberhood is not only not needed but gives the good people of the association a poor representation in the eye of both public officials that serve and protect as well as the businesses that share and are within the Lee Blvd Heights boundries.
Clearly a better option would have been restricted parking ( ex: no parking 7pm - 6am), permitted parking or no parking of vehicals over 12,500 gvw.
Just some thoughts for the non thimkers out there.
