S A D and disheartened! Someone STOLE my flowerpot with mums, cat whiskers, and pansies at the end of my driveway next to the mailbox! Cry

Good day i am new to the area and i live in Palm Coast the "W" section and their has been alot of theft in the neighbor hood lately We had a guy on our back porch this morning stealing stuff i chased him down and caught him held him down until the police arrived and he is now sitting in a nice lil jail cell :) but i would like to know if their is a neighbor hood watch program for my neighbor hood and if not do you know how i would go about starting one? I'm not going to sit back and worry about something being taken and not do all i can to prevent this I think more people need to be proactive and take a stand against crime to help improve their neighborhoods. By everyone helping each other it will not only improve the neighbor hood but it will also offer a safer place for the neighbor hood children. I have 2  kids and i will do everything i can to ensure their safety. Any info you can share with me will be greatly appreciated

Thank you for your time

I am sorry to hear about the theft in your neighborhood. We lived in the "W" section for 13-years before moving to the "R" section. Starting a Neighborhood Watch program in your neighborhood is not hard, but it will take a little time and some proper planning.

Go to the "Pages & Links" link then to "Get Involved" to download PDFs on starting your own Watch program. You can also setup a "Neighborhood Link" website FREE.

Here's a great place to start:

People like you are what make a Neighborhood Watch program successful. Your neighbor needs your help and you need your neighbor’s help. The small steps you take now will pay big dividends down the road. Building a spirit of community helps keep all of you safer and more secure. That’s what Neighborhood Watch is all about!

Hope this helps.

Great thanks for the info! My in laws live in the "R" section very nice neighborhood sometimes its hard to believe im only 2 blocks away from the "R" section and its such a big difference
