I might do some under-cover park surveillance. I would encourage others to do so also. If you have a mobile phone and a radio for the network take it with you and report anything suspicious. Take license information, descriptios of individuals and keep it in case we need it for the athorities.
Let's take the park back! If the police presence is there the bad kids may find it an uncomfortable place to hang out. It sounds like it is out of hand now. We all pay taxes and should use the services of the police and sheriff. They just have to know, so let them!
