Liberty Chase Watch

This is Patricia Dolan. My husband and I are brand new to the neighborhood. We bought the house on lot #2 - 137 Colonial Street. We haven't even been in this neighborhood a full month and a half and my truck was broken into in my driveway sometime between 12:00 and about 1:30 this morning. The only thing taken was my wallet but it had all my i.d., credit cards and everything in it. They didn't waste any time using the cards either. Between 2:00 and 4:10 a.m. this morning the cards were used to get gas and other items which indicates the person had to have been driving through the neighborhood looking to see who has their car parked in the driveway. Not a great welcome to the neighborhood. I will never again park my truck in the driveway. If anyone has any information about who might have done this, please let me or the Hoke County Sheriff's department know any information. Thank you.

I'm Karen and My husband and I are also homeowners in the community, we live on Victory Drive. I totally feel where you are coming from... to be new in the neighborhood and for something like that to happen is disturbing concerning safety issues.

I think that all of us as homeowners in this community should always be on the look out for suspicious acts .
