Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park is a master planned community of 252 Kaufman & Broad (K&B) built "Classic" homes. The first phase started in 1996 and the neighborhood was completed in 1999. The builder submitted the restrictive deeds and covenants to the state of Texas in 1996. The neighborhood is designed to appeal to those who are looking for a quiet country-like setting near major city benefits.

Abe Lincoln Association, Inc. is a mandatory Home Owners Association (HOA) created by K&B in 1996. The charter was drawn up and filed with the State of Texas and Bylaws of the Association were adopted by the K&B temporary board members.

The Association:
*Maintains the entry way & the front facing the street.
*Sponsors the neighborhood garage sales
*Sponsors Halloween events for children
*Sponsors an annual picnic
*Sponsors a Holiday lighting contest
*Promotes and encourages every street to participate and get certified as a Neighborhood Watch street.

All Lincoln Park neighbors are encouraged to become active members of the association and its committees. Contact us at the email or phone number listed under "Neighborhood Contact" to obtain information.

December Holiday Tradition:
It has been a tradition in our young neighborhood for the HOA to decorate the areas signposts, mailboxes, entrance and lightposts. A Christmas Decoration Contest is judged and awards are given for the best three decorated homes. Residents enjoy walking through our festive streets filled with lights and neighborhood parties. Who knows when Santa may show up on someones roof!

Annual Picnic:
Each year the HOA provides a picnic to its neighborhood families free of charge. The banquet usually consists of burgers, fun, hotdogs, good times, covered salads, beans, more fun, chips, smiles and the fixings with iced tea/lemonade. This event provides a great opportunity to meet new faces and make new friends. Please check the website calendar for date and location.

Halloween:
The number of little ghosts and goblins roaming our streets increases every year. With a couple of haunted houses in the area and an HOA booth giving out treats, fun is had by all.

Get Involved!
Currently, there are various committees to challenge your ideas and energies: Social/Civic Committee, Newsletter Committee, Deed Restriction and Architectural Control Committee. This community welcomes your input and strives to serve its fellow neighbors. Please consider lending a hand!!!

Thank you.
