The Lindon Park Neighborhood Association was formed in August, 2001, to work towards the promotion of safety and reduction of crime, the prevention and reduction of blight in the neighborhood, the develoment of Block Watches in the area, an improvement in communication between neighbors and city officials, departments, and local businesses, to develop awarements of safety issues and solutions, and to generally improve the quality of life in the neighborhood through greater individual participation, pride in our residences, and cohesiveness among our residents.
The Lindon Park Neighborhood Association meets the last Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. We normally meet at the East end of Brill Street at 50th Street (the Brill Street cul-de-sac). Children are always welcome at our meetings and we have activities to engage their attention during the meetings. Every month we have a guest speaker and handouts for that month's topic.
The Lindon Park Neighborhood Association is working closely with the Balsz Elementary School District to define and implement school and community goals for the new school. We will continue to support and work with Balsz as the new elementary school is built across 48th Street from our association (where the old Big Pine and Big Palm Mobile Home Parks used to be). If you have questions or concerns about the new school, please contact us.

We publish and distribute a monthly newsletter in our neighborhood. We hand distribute the printed copies. If you have not been receiving it, please contact us to add you to our distribution list. We also distribute the newsletter as a PDF file via e-mail. If you would like to receive the color PDF version, please contact us by telephone or e-mail and give us your e-mail address.
