Our next neighborhood watch meeting won't be until mid-January. Let's get past the busy holidays first!
Reminders from TPD, please remember to keep your doors and windows locked, when you buy those new cool gifts, write down the serial numbers. It's the time of year where the bad guys get desperate, we're seeing an increase of door kick-ins (not in our grid, but nearby) and more thefts. As always, be vigilant and call the police.. follow your instincts! If something doesn't look right, it's because it probably isn't. TPD would much rather we call and give them an opportunity to check it out. Our district non emergency # is 231-6130, call.
Our grid in particular has accomplished a LOT in the one year that Neighborhood watch has been back in the game, great job to all!
I personally am very proud of how our neighborhood has come together and is supportive of each other and our community. This is where we sleep at night, where our children play, where our relatives come to visit, where we put our feet up at the end of a long day... it's vital that we stay vigilant and protect what's ours so that we're comfortable when we lay down at night and don't have to worry about what's going on when we're not looking. Teamwork, it works if you work it!
I wish everyone a wonderful holiday and a prosperous new year!! (We all need it!!)
