Below is a link to an article from TBO.com posted today - we've had an increase of solicitors lately, "verizon" was here last Friday knocking on my door. I call the police every time - read the article below.. a good example of WHY.  Don't hesitate to call the police, that's why they're here.

ok, it's not letting me link or copy/paste for some reason.. a summary of the news story is that people are going door to door pretending to be verizon, brighthouse, etc and then once they get in the house, they steal from you, scam you, whatever they can do. This happened at the palm apts which isn't too far from here, they even have id badges that said they were from Verizon!  Bottom line, no solicitors!  Be careful folks.
