Parking on Streets

Posted in: Kipling Villas
Many people park their RV vehicles and cars that are not in use on the street. I know that the latest newsletter requested that these vehicles be parked 'off street' if space was available. Is there a law that can be enforced to have these vehicles parked elsewhere when not in use for long periods of time?

Parking Off Street

Pat,

This is a frustration of mine as well. To my knowledge there is no law. The only thing you can do is report it to the Jefferson County Sherrif's office if the plates are expired or if it is causing a hazard. There use to be a semi-truck that would park on Iris where Holland ends. Rumor has it a Jeffco Sherrif was seen talking to that truck driver and he no longer parks it there. You might want to look up Ken Schauer and see if he has more information. He was the previous president and knows much of the history of Kipling Villas.
