It has come to my attention that someone has a petition circulating to sue the Board, myself, and the Parish because the Parish cleaned out their ditch. First of all, the ditches are for drainage (and we do have a drainage problem), not for planting grass in and impeding the drainage. The parish is well within any legal boundaries regarding this. Secondly, in regard to suing myself or the Board, you had better READ THE RESTRICTIONS AND COVENANTS before you go off half cocked and try to pursuede people to do something wrong. The Board and it's Officers cannot be sued. But the Board and it's officers CAN sue someone for Defamation and or Slander. People, READ THE RESRICTIONS, PLEASE!!
