I have read all posting within the site and I said I wouldn?’t post anything.
After reading the posting from yesterday I felt it was time to say something.
It was amazing to me how quick everyone jump to start knocking both sides that are running, but what would you expect in the game of politics. I am going to point out a few things that I see.
Mr. Self,
Did you realize that putting your name in the hat for this election you would get hammered? This is typical of any type of election. Mr. Self I will also like to point out that you have made one point that the other camp has yet to respond to, and that is: Has the board followed through with its end of the agreement with the cul-de-sac.
Mr. Hebert,
You are very quick to try and put things to rest. As for the attorney fees I would have to agree with Mr. Self. The reason I would say this is, for every dollar that could be saved could be spent on improvements. Also I find it hard to believe that Mr. Self would turn down an offer to help. I have seen him all over this neighborhood extending his hand to help. I don?’t know whose house he was on fixing something on the roof, but the rain was pouring down while he was doing it. That says something about him as a person.
Now about the fountain, everyone has said that Mr. Self only wants this for himself. Did any of you possible think that there are more people living on that lake than him? Just maybe he is the one person that the people around the lake go to because he will go to bat for them, just another way think instead of you all thinking it is all about what he wants.
Mr. Bowtieman (Craig),
I don?’t know what to think about you. One minute you want to dissolve the Association then you are posting about how something would look good up front and how you agree. Then the next posting you are hammering Mr. Self. I honestly would have to say, with all that you said has no merit and I also find hard to believe coming from someone who wants to do away with the Association. Didn?’t you use to sit on the board? This also should open some questions that maybe Mr. Self was right about the last board.
As for which board did the most for the neighborhood. The second board has done really nothing that the first board didn?’t do. Each board has kept the grass cut, flowers in the front, and passed out newsletters. The biggest difference between each was the amount of funds that each had. The second board had double the funding compared to the first board.
Mrs. Loupe,
Since you are the treasurer for the neighborhood, why don?’t you post all expenditures for everyone to see what has been spent prior to the election. I think we should see this info on the site to let everyone know what is being spent. Besides it is our money and we should have the right to know where it is going and by posting it on the site it will save money and time.
