Horace Mann Elementary PTO is asking for community help. They have stared a recycling program of aluminum cans and plastic. The proceeds will be used to fund programs which are not available due to budget cuts. These programs include math/reading tutoring, special assemblies, chess club, the art program, and transportation for field trips. Items can be dropped off at the teacher?’s parking lot located on Vista during school hours. There are two containers, one marked for aluminum and one for plastic. If you are not able to drop them off you can call Kaco Embery at 562-621-9939 to arrange for bimonthly pickup. The Horace Mann staff and students thank you in advance for your consideration.
