After receiving the request for input on upcoming LaCienega Park renovations today, I called the BH Recreation and Parks Commissioner Steve Miller to suggest they acquire the NE corner of Olympic and LaCienega and incorporate it into the park. And lo and behold, BH is in negotiation with the owner and they expect to complete the deal in the next 6 months. He anticipates that the land will primarily be ''gently landscaped'' and serve as a gateway into the rest of the park. Hooray!
