As a new resident in Carthay Circle and an architectural enthusiast I would like to develop an online architectural index of notable Carthay Circle homes.

This index would include photos and a narrative description of architectural elements and history.

Ultimately, the index could also be used to create a ''home of the month'' feature for this website.

HOME OF THE MONTH

Not a bad idea, because I've seen the interiors of some amazing homes here in Carthay Circle. Only concern I might have is of ssecurity, but I guess one picture could feature the alarm panel or a vicious Rottweiler.

I know that when we applied for HPOZ status, a survey of every home had to be conducted, and that survey notes the architectural style of each of the 400+ homes here, as well as its architect and builder. That information might be a good start to your inventory.

Historic Survey

Security is definitely a consideration. I think that a start could be just showing the exterior with some facts that are a part of the index.

Dan, is the survey that you are refering to a public record? I would very much like to review it.
